Trumbull Home

This design project of mine was featured on HGTV. It was a breezeway that was previously and unused space. The family of four wanted to have the space renovated and converted into a multi-purpose room. It became part office, part tv room, and an entertaining space with access to their deck for use in the warmer months. We started with a beautiful neutral pallet. White shiplap walls, heated tile floor and custom built-in gray cabinets. The homeowners loved color so we had fun choosing some vibrant shades using colorful accessories, artwork and an overdyed rug really gave the neutral pallet a pop of color and personality.

For this episode of Amazing Spaces I was asked to come in and decorate the space behind the scenes. I worked with the homeowner and producer to address the needs of the family while making it look great on camera. Through the magic of television the host appears to have put it all together beautifully! There was some serious work behind the scenes that I did all on my own for which I get a credit on screen for at the end of the show. Myself, the producer and the family were all thrilled with the completed project!
