FAQ

We offer a variety of services to meet our clients where they are at. Our most comprehensive option is Full-Service Interior Design. This offering is designed to take the stress out of the design process while delivering exceptional results that reflect your unique personality and lifestyle. With our expertise and dedication, we'll create a space you'll love coming home to. The steps of the full-service interior design are as follows:

  • The Discovery Call: We start with a free 20-to-30-minute discovery call to get some of the details of your project and how we can best help you.

  • Initial Consultation: We begin by getting to know you, your lifestyle, and your design preferences. This helps us understand your vision and goals for the space.

  • Concept Development: Based on our discussions and your input, we develop a unique design concept tailored to your style, functional needs, and budget requirements. This concept serves as the foundation for the entire project.

  • Design Planning: Once the concept is approved, we dive into the detailed planning phase. This includes space planning, furniture layout, color schemes, material selection, and any other elements essential to bringing the design concept to life.

  • Sourcing and Procurement: We take care of sourcing all necessary materials, furnishings, decor, and accessories to execute the design plan. Our extensive network of suppliers ensures access to high-quality products that align with your aesthetic and budget.

  • Project Management: Our team oversees every aspect of the project, from coordinating with contractors and vendors to managing timelines and budgets. We handle all the logistics, allowing you to relax and enjoy the transformation process.

  • Installation and Styling: On installation day, we bring the design vision to reality, placing furniture, hanging artwork, and styling each space to perfection. We pay attention to every detail to ensure the final result exceeds your expectations.

  • Final Reveal and Follow-Up: Once the project is complete, we invite you to experience the final reveal of your newly designed space. We walk you through the finished product, addressing any questions or adjustments you may have. Our commitment to your satisfaction doesn't end here – we're always available for post-project support and assistance.

The other offering is what we call our Design Coaching service. This is geared toward clients who need professional guidance and are willing and able to do the “legwork” to implement the suggestions we will offer. This is great for people who are about to start a kitchen or bath renovation or want to update a space. We can work on-site and virtually or a combination of the two, depending on the location of the project. This service is like having a designer by your side! Avoid the overwhelm and costly mistakes that happen all too often when homeowners take on their projects solo. Protect your renovation investment and get the best possible results! We offer Design Coaching packages in increments of one, four, and 12 hours. Call us for more info!

This is a fluid and intuitive process that is very much a collaborative experience between us and the clients. This way we can crystalize the vision and create a clear plan to move ahead.

How long does the interior design process typically take?

The duration of an interior design project can vary significantly depending on several factors, including the scope of work, the size of the space, client responsiveness, and any unforeseen challenges that may arise during the process. While there is no one-size-fits-all answer to how long a typical interior design project takes, below are some general guidelines:

  • Small Projects (e.g., Single Room Design): Small interior design projects, such as designing a single room like a bedroom or a living room, typically take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks to complete. This includes the initial consultation, design development, sourcing of materials and furnishings, installation, and final touches.

  • Medium-Sized Projects (e.g., Whole Home Design or Renovation): Medium-sized projects, such as designing or renovating an entire home or a significant portion of it, may take anywhere from 3 to 6 months to complete. These projects involve more extensive planning, coordination with contractors, and procurement of materials, which can extend the timeline.

  • Large-Scale Projects (e.g., Commercial Spaces or Multi-Room Renovations): Large-scale interior design projects, such as designing commercial spaces or multi-room renovations, can take 6 months to a year or more to complete. These projects involve complex logistics, extensive coordination with various stakeholders, and sometimes navigating regulatory approvals, which can significantly extend the timeline.

It's important to note that these timelines are approximate and can vary based on the specific requirements and circumstances of each project. Additionally, effective communication and collaboration between the designer and the client can help streamline the process and ensure that the project stays on track.

During the initial consultation, we can discuss your project goals, timeline expectations, and any other factors that may impact the duration of the project. From there, we'll work together to develop a realistic timeline that meets your needs while ensuring a successful outcome for the project.
